SLNS ‘Sayura’ and SLNS ‘Suranimala’ on training visit to India

Sri Lanka Navy is taking part in joint training exercise with the Indian Navy. Offshore Patrol Vessel SLNS ‘Sayura’ and Fast Missile Vessel SLNS ‘Suranimala’ left Colombo port on Oct 22’16 for India. The two ships are scheduled to make their port of call at Cochin in India on Oct 23 and take part in a series of training programmes. Three hundred and four (304) SLN personnel

including twenty (20) Midshipmen undergoing their sea training, are taking part in the 07-day visit which would allow them to meet and interact with their Indian counterparts, strengthening the bilateral relations and friendship between the two friendly navies.
