Dhiggaru MP Ahmed Faris Maumoon, son of the former Maldives president Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, was summoned to police headquarters this Monday morning.
Faris was sent summons to attend police headquarters at 10 am.
Police media official confirmed that Faris was summoned to the police headquarters. He said the summons was part of an ongoing investigation, but released no details.
Faris has been summoned to police headquarters on multiple occasion in recent days.
He has also been questioned by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
